There are two options of collectors available for solar geysers.

EVT(evacuated tubes) and Flat Plate. Both have their pros and cons.

Evacuated tubes is a slightly newer technology,  and  lately have been found to be more efficient in water heating.

While the Flat Plate systems have a longer plant life and are more durable to the elements
